A couple of problems here... 1: She voted for Shaggai 2: The Mafia had no way of knowing Jor was the oracle. 3: In a place called Truffle town, her being chocolate is more likely to be indicative of her being an innocent. As for my vote, well... I've proven to several of you that I'm a townie, which makes votes for lynching me suspect. So two possible Mafia to my mind are breadknife and Blaat. Breadknife's rationale for voting for me is sound, albeit wrong, so my vote is for Blaat and I encourage others to join me on that. I'm seriously reluctant to buy the "well it's so obvious that I'm innocent that anyone who disagrees is Mafia" shtick. I admit it is a not shaky, but I don't have a lot to go on...

All things I suggested previously where purely hypothetical, but there must have been a reason why Jorg was targeted by its murderer, or maybe even murderers. The Mafia is known for working together, after all. If there wasn't an investigation going on, the Mafia got ridiculously lucky. And that's not how it works. Poor Jorg must have been noticed by the mob, despite so carefully and silently working in the shadows. Apparently he didn't contribute to the discussion for very good reasons. Or maybe the Mafia just got lucky. I only got whacked last game because I was very public about the information I found. Luck has nothing to do with it. Also Poli seems glad the dead can not share any information anymore. This should be telling us all something.

How would the mafia know that Jorm was an oracle? It doesn't seem like he shared that info with anyone. I'm leaning towards luck, at least in the absence of better information. Although it is a bit suspicious that they targeted someone who had been silent on the first day... [edit: "at least this early on --> in the absence of better information]

This ain't luck, it is all very carefully calculated. They are playing us for fools and it is time we strike back. The chocolate girl is currently the most suspicious suspect if you ask me.

With such a polarised player base, taking out anyone loud gives immediate clues as to who the Mafia are.

We know what happened to Shaggai after he bought into Poli's story about my motives being questionable. Poli decided not to vote herself, but that was just to make sure to stay under the radar. She's smart, but she didn't anticipate the supernatural. This is purely suggestion, but I wouldn't be surprised if Poli murdered Jormungandr in order to avoid being outed by research. However, Jormungandr was still able to leave us a clue despite her untimely death. That this clue is made of chocolate is only logical, because Poli appears to be so sweet and gentle. Looks can be deceiving, however. A couple of problems here... 1: She voted for Shaggai 2: The Mafia had no way of knowing Jor was the oracle. 3: In a place called Truffle town, her being chocolate is more likely to be indicative of her being an innocent. How about we abstain from voting until somebody, if they do, decides to vote? That way we don't get misled and take out a civvy?
OTOH, we're just biding time for the Mafia to take us out I suppose. Either way, we don't have many solid leads.

All this confusion seems to be deliberate, but I'm willing to bring clarity if I must. I am somewhat reluctant to do this despite all my arguments in favour of it, but it won't come as a surprise that I vote Poli. I might be wrong, but I'm willing to take that bet. She delights a bit too much in throwing up smokescreens.

Also Poli seems glad the dead can not share any information anymore. This should be telling us all something. ...that Poli has run multiple Mafia games and knows that the dead communicating is pretty much always against the rules, and would massively unbalance the game if allowed? You seem REALLY keen on taking me out. Between "forgetting" that I voted for Shaggai (and hoping other people wouldn't notice your "mistake" there, perhaps?) and coming up with weirdness like "Poli always says 'LOL,'" you seem to be less interested in finding the baddies and more interested in making sure I die no matter how you have to massage the facts to make that happen.

I forgot nothing. You only voted for Shaggai when it became clear that your buddy couldn't be saved anyway, so you happily sacrificed him for the Greater Good. I am actually very interested in finding those who threaten us and I might just have done so. Not that you would acknowledge it, of course.

Can we get a vote tally and a close date? I already gave you a close time. As of now, you have approximately 7 hours before voting closes. Will do a vote tally now.

I'll vote for Dya to create a tie.
Anybody else who votes for either might be mafia.
Sound like a plan?

I don't think Poli pointing out the rule about the dead not being able to talk is a sign for or against her being mafia. And I don't think we'd have a clue as obvious as "There is a chocolate Poli" to lead us right to her, unless that's the trick- so I'm going to say it's inconclusive for now pending further info. Hurd, I'm a bit suspicious that you think it's so obviously her so soon. But not enough to vote for you just yet. I'm going to hold off on voting for now in favor of taking a nap because my head is killing me right now. I'll be back when I wake up to reread everything and see if an impression takes shape.

In which case someone else can pitch in and create a tie. It's the best way to find out who is and isn't mafia at this point, lest we take out a civvie.

Since it's currently a tie, I'm extending voting another 24 hours from now. If we're still tied at that point, we will hold a séance with Jorm as the tie breaker.
