I vote Not Very Observant then because I was going to vote for somebody else.

I can see how my fellow citizens are wary of NVO, especially given the legend of the Silent Butcher. However, we must consider the possibility that a terrible mistake might be made. On the other hand it's true that terrible mistakes are quite common during dire times such as these. I shall consult the ancient tomes of knowledge before I make my decision.

Well, the second day of lynching is looking to be just as risky as the first. I'll hold off on voting for now, until I can at least make a slightly educated guess.

Lynch Breadknife, to start voting. Just come back home and what do I see? Well, I'm not going to arbitrarily retaliate, because I've not yet got proof that you're doing it for evil intent. But I'll probably marginally factor it into any decision, all the same.

But I'll probably marginally factor it into any decision, all the same. That seems reasonable. Indigo may have made that suggestion in jest, but it may also be a sign that dear Indigo's soul, who I've known since she lept from tree to tree back when she was a wee lass, may have darkened. I do not want to believe she has joined the diabolical hordes of the Dark Brotherhood, but the possibility cannot be ignored either.

Indigo might also be the detective and knows something nobody else knows. Or maybe Indigo is mafia and wants to eliminate someone they know to be a townie? Either way there's no reason to tell. It could also be just a random vote to "get voting underway" as was stated. I'm clueless.

I thought it was against the rules to post screenshots of role messages? It certainly used to be.
Surely if this becomes a thing, we can all post them except the Mafia and it'll be way too easy.

Frankly I won't weep for the Mafia not being able to prove their identity.
Besides! I don't see anything specifically prohibited, and I've never been a fan of rules enacted ex post facto.

Wow.
On one hand, that's some bad precedent and a game destroyer, on the other, NVO is innocent.
I'm reluctantly changing my vote to Breadknife.

Frankly I won't weep for the Mafia not being able to prove their identity. Yeah, but it kinda ruins the game. I'm all for outing the Mafia and lynching them, but the game stops being fun when you have an effectively guaranteed victory. True, true. But I thought it might be wise to discuss it before we go any further.

I have no idea if it is, but as has been pointed out, if it's allowed it very heavily weighs things in the favor of the townies. It wouldn't be fair for me to take any sort of action against NVO since it's not something that was explicitly prohibited, but I am asking people to please not do it going forward.

Well, I'm tempted to vote for NVO just because of all those tabs! Way too many! I'm jealous, my browser tends to crash when I have half that many open...
I'm debating between Indigo and Breadknife.

My thoughts on Why it should be prohibited: The idea of the game is that the innocents only know their role (or lack thereof) and the number of mafia. If they can publicly post a screenshot of their role message, it eliminates the "uninformed" from the majority.

I'm terrible with tabs, I'll have 100-200 open easily. It used to be that Firefox never crashed from that but alas, in the past couple months, I've lost my tabs 3 times without possibility of restoring them.

I vote Not Very Observant because they haven't posted yet at all so I share the hope that they won't notice. I'll follow the German and vote Not Very Observant. I vote Not Very Observant then because I was going to vote for somebody else. I guess I'm jumping on the NVO bandwagon, for lack of any better ideas... After my random vote for NVO, 3 people joined that vote. Not a single objection until 3 hrs later from Hurdegaryp. At pretty much the same time I posted my vote, jello posted his for Jormungandr. 9 hrs before that Indigo voted for breadknife. No reactions or other vote. So here's what I'm thinking: Jormungandr is probably mafia and, to save him, the other mafia took the chance my vote for NVO gave them and jumped on that bandwagon instead of on jello's. Meaning at least one of the 3 people who voted with me are probably also mafia. I may be totally wrong, of course (especially beacuse it always sucks to say someone is "jumping on the bandwagon" just because they're voting for the same person), but still - it just looks off. Soooo - do I vote Jormungandr or do I vote, She-ep, DM, or TBD? After all, Jormungandr could be innocent, maybe DM and/or TBD just saw a 2-person bandwagon and took it - as long as a townie gets lynched they're happy. I am however half tempted to vote She-ep because no Dutchman ever willingly said "I'll follow the German". But I'll leave this here for now, maybe someone else has anything helpful to add.

Wytyg (in my head that name sounds like a very loud bearded man with a massive belly and an impressive silver tipped cane yelling Veeeeee-teeeeeeg! for some reason, even though I know it's an acronym) raised an intriguing argument about TBD, DM, and She-ep. Then again, maybe one of them has access to information they haven't publicly shared but that they saw fit to share with each other? Or maybe it was just a good old fashioned lynch mob hungry for blood.
I'm still a little suspicious of Indigo for jumping on breadknife. Maybe she (I think she - I'm not familiar with Indigo so I don't know which pronoun to use, please correct me if I'm mistaken) was hoping she'd start a bandwagon? Or maybe it was just a vote because there were precious few (if any) so far.
I guess I'll follow my gut and vote Indigo, as much as I hate to do so.

Let's just note nothing in that says she's innocent. The mafia last game had a detective. Also she cut off a very important part of that screenshot: i.imgur.com/jEBb12B.png. She's truly is Not Very Observant to believe that I wouldn't notice that little flaw.

First: I got the amount of time left wrong in my previous tally, there's more time left than I had said. There is currently 5.5 hours left (yes, I'm sure this time). Second: The current tally is: Breadknife 2 jormungandr 1 TSM 2 Indigo 2
