Basically, in pinned threads such as this recent one, there's a little anchor on the corner. Hover your mouse over it and it says "this thread is falling". What does that mean, basically?

Apparently it means it's un-bumpable - i.e., it means it falls to the bottom of the page even if it contains a new post. Which is entirely irrelevant to a stickied thread, but somehow I seem to have turned on the setting that makes stickied threads "falling" by default. I have no idea why there's a setting for that. I suppose I'll turn it off.

Bit of an irresistible force meeting an immovable object isn't it?

Bit of an irresistible force meeting an immovable object isn't it? Pin up girls are also irresistible. Makes you wonder if Marilyn Monroe is God.
