Everyone's favorite childhood word game is back! Well, maybe not your favorite. But one that many of us (...maybe?) enjoyed. I haven't played it in years, but this seems as good a place as any! Rules might seems a little confusing at first, but once you get going it's a real easy game to pick up.
Here's my breakdown of the rules, but I'll post the wiki link below this if some people need more clarification/if I bungle this.
The whole point is to have a collection of letters that forms the beginning of a word and to keep adding to it without actually forming a word. If you form a word (of 4 letters or more), add a letter that is not part of the beginning of another word, or cannot think of a word, you lose the round.
1. First player picks a letter
2. Second player adds a letter
3. Third player adds another, or first adds another if there are only two players
4. If you lose a round, you get a letter. First 'G', then 'H', 'O', 'S', 'T' - first to spell out ghost loses the game
5. No cheating, please - it's easy to check a dictionary online, but try not to. In the words of generic Nord villagers in Morrowind: "You're on your honor... don't press your luck."

And a sample:
p1: G (base of many, many, many words)
p2: Gl (base of many words)
p3: Glo (base of some words)
p4: player four here has to avoid his next letter forming a four letter word, yet it must still be the base to another word.
p4: Glor
p1: Glori
p2: Glorio
p3: player three probably sees the writing on the wall here, if it hasn't been seen already. The only word p3 can think of the letters being the start for is "glorious" - which puts p4 in a lot of trouble
p3: Gloriou
p4: Glorious (Since p4 formed a word, he loses the round, meaning his standing becomes a "G" while none of the others have any letters - akin to "horse")
