Getting the Gateway Timeout error a lot, and DDOS Protection

Pretty much as the subject. Cloudfare London gateway, etc, etc, but didn't clipboard the exact details. You (i.e. Poli) probably wouldn't need them anyway.
The "DDOS Protection" one stated it wanted to check my browser for five seconds... but never got any further (I stopped it, waited and then retried what I was trying a few minutes later). Standard Mozilla Firefox without any NoScript or anything else particularly special on it, so... Had a look at the source of the page, but didn't try to manually extrapolate what the code therein would actually be doing...
Anyway, got back in again (eventually) and wandered into the Mod/Tech area but got some more Gateway Timeout errors even whilst getting ready to post this.
Probably nothing to do with The Batcavern in particular, and could easily be (intentionally or otherwise) any one of any of the other services hosted by Freeforums.nethost, but FYI. If it's not just me, I suspect the meta-forums for the host already have complaints about it, but I thought I'd put this here in case useful for future reference.
