I'm not sure about this surge towards Sniffles or Gamerdog. Since jello was the first to vote for either, I think I'm going to vote jello

Vote Sniffy because he seems to have already made his peace

I think that's the end of the day... let me just check the votes, because currently it appears to be a draw, from my tally.

Well, it would be a draw, and one which leads to no deaths, but I think everyone is fed up with the NoLynch result (save those that might die without it, perhaps) so I'm going to be punitive, tonight.
The score should have been: Sniffles - 3 Gamerdog - 3 Dya - 2 Jello - 1
But people didn't Vote Bold (or, at a push, even Vote @usertag, which I wouldn't have minded, in the case where the @usertag was actually being used). If I count just those that Voted properly, I get a different score... Sniffles - 2 Gamerdog - 1 Dya - 1 Jello - 1
Which is a shame, because Sniffles actually voted in bold. If it's any consolation, they were almost dead under the less punitive system, right?
So, this rather sudden gust of wind having addled your minds into believing that certain little things matter more than they ought to...
Enraged, you surround Sniffles, murderous in your intent. You string up the helpless target of your endeavours and watch him die a slow and possibly pointless death. When your bloodlust (or asphyxiationlust, perhaps) has died down you consider the new addition to the various decorative hanging baskets that are draped around your scenic little village. Unfortunately, you note, he is nothing but an innocent villager. He wears a stained labcoat, complete with Plastic Pocket Protector full of pens (the green one is leaking), and upon it is the identity badge that confirms that he was the Mad Scientist from October's Mafia game, having fled here to live a life free of the dangers of lab explosions.
It is now night. Anyone who has anything private to say to/ask of the mod can say or ask it through the appropriate role message. Anything else aired in public should be unimportant. Dead or alive, the time for any musings of import has passed, at least until dawn comes round again.

Sniffles' body twitches once, and in what might be only a simple settling of the body and escaping of gases seems to say.
"You bunch of utter bastards...."

I vote to lynch myself. I'm obviously the most suspicious person here. Or something.

Did you know, everybody, that there there was an estimated 3% chance of no deaths at all on both Day 1 and Night 2, when I simulated the basic premise to this game? (Becoming vanishingly small for successive periods.)
It is now Day 4. People have been busy overnight. Things have happened, other things were prevented from happening, some people did useful things, some did useless things. So success and/or failure according to your position in the grand scheme of thing.
But nobody has died. (Not even She-ep, yet. Only just spotted that message so disregarding it for the moment, while it's possible to do so.)
It is an annoyingly uneventful new morning after what should have been a clue-providing night for everyone, but was only a partly clue-providing night for some, although everyone has got bits of the puzzle. That's purposeful clues, rather than any indiscreet information that I've inadvertently let slip along the way.

I don't have any bits of the puzzle, and I demand a refund!

You do, you just probably don't know it.
And, here... have all the money you paid me back. Including commission, that comes to A$0.00.

Well I could comb through all the old games and try and figure out how you allocated people, but I suspect that I would still be missing a very vital part of the puzzle.

*sigh* My not voting strategy has been getting me no-where. And it sounds like she-ep already voted himself off the island so... vote she-ep.

Well, no one has died. Therefore no one is a murderer. Therefore, if I vote no one, I am certain to be right.

True that the only people who have died have been lynched, but I still think there is something very fishy going on. Sitting around doing nothing isn't progressing the game. It's tough to know what to do.

Um hi, just here for clarification, since I normally host these things, thought I'd just ask, Breadknife did you forget to put mafia in this game?

There's a range of roles from <redacted> to <redacted>. But you also know something about the game that (beyond those who need to know) I have not even previously wanted to hint at {This couched Spoiler is perhaps further than I wanted to go, but it's here if you want it}Nothing is forgotten. Everything is there that I think ought to be there. That there would have been likely more progress in this game if the game were being played randomly is a bit of a concern to me, given the deliberate (and legitimate) intrigue I was already aiming to engender. And then I had planned on it being faster-paced, but was convinced by the logistics. Maybe I've made a game that I'd like (as a player, that is, and as a variation rather than a norm), not one that everyone else likes. If I misjudged the hive-mindset, I apologise. But I still think there'll be an "oh I see!" at the end (or abandonment?) of the game, when all is revealed... And it's not something I could (never mind would or should) host twice, in the form it is.

No, it's you lot who aren't as good as my simulation! How about we see the Day (43.5 hours, rather than the 19.5 that it could have been) out, and see what's happening. I've been trying to butt out of your deliberations, but rather failing to do so. So... /exit, stage left. Pursued by bear.

Well, since She-ep has withdrawn already, I too will vote She-ep. In this case I'm not scared about lynching an innocent since he is, well, already something of a dead man walking.

Voting she-ep for the above reasons
but honestly this game of mafia is turning out to be really lame.

I like it. It keeps me wondering what the hell must be going on behind the scenes every night.
Also, the lack of lynching on the first day was our own doing. And had Sniffage not broken the umpteenth tie on the second day to kill me we would have done the same on the second day.

You mean..? Of course not. That would be silly. (Also, I didn't put a half-day tally up, but I thought that'd be silly, too. And was busy getting ready for a weekend trip. Which shouldn't affect the game schedule too much, for those that are still interested.)
