Welcome to X-Com recruits.
I am Central Officer Bradford. I run the general operations and do the day to day management of the X-Com Project. I report directly to the Commander and answer only to him.
You are here for one purpose and one purpose only: the protection of mankind from a new threat. One that threatens us all.
There is an alien presence on Earth and it is hostile. We do not know their intentions but we do know that they are armed, dangerous and aggressive.
So what we are is exactly the same. Armed, dangerous and aggressive. We will go out and attack and kill these aliens wherever they pop up.
You are the last and only line of defence, recruits. Let's get to work.
Notes 1 March 2015:
Commander, we had our first contact with the aliens today. A team was dispatched and took them out, to no casualties, below is details of the team and my recommendation for promotions.
Jessie Blas. Last stationed in Canada but a Russian. A good shot and did well in the mission. No kill so no promotion though.
We're not entirely sure what nationality Div Saurus is, but he's come to us from Argentina. Two kills in the mission make him ideal for the sniper group.
Jim McFisticuffs. Very odd name. Odd soldier as well. No one's seen him without his helmet yet and we've had reports he showers with it on. A kill on the mission and a love of big weaponry puts in the Heavy class.
... Where do we find these guys? Are they related? Either way, Tyson McFighty fits the Assault class. He is injured for 9 days though, so we to fill that gap with some new recruits.
We've got three reports of abductions coming in. The US, Egypt and India are all asking for our help, Commander, which do we go for:
Kansas City, USA, $200
Delhi, India, 4 Scientists
Alexandria, Egypt, 4 Engineers
