Hunh... Losing the Doc on the first night is not good. Also, spare corpse? What kind of expedition is this that we brought corpses along? For spare parts. Duh.

We seem to be hesitant to start the voting, so I'll kick things off... First, my thought process... At the end of the first day I suspected that Blassy and DM were both Mafia for the same basic reason... Both of them voted in a fashion that is unusual for them. In Blassy's case, it was the fact that she voted at all on the first day - usually she doesn't do so. In DM's case it was that she didn't vote with TBD - more often than not she does (at least on the first vote). Now, obviously I was wrong about Blassy, what with her being the ship's doctor, which led me to question my suspicions about DM. Then I got thinking, what if the Mafia decided to kill off someone who had voted along with one thing of their members so as to throw us townies off the scent? This puts me back on my suspicion of DM, and since I currently have nothing else to go on... Vote desperatemarlas

Vote Desperatemarlas.Well four major flaws: 1. We didn't vote together. 2. When in any role that can kill someone, I have never went after someone who was voting with me. 3. What possible reason could I have for not voting for Ovi if I was mafia? I risk my own death and let a civilian through. 4. Under this, a member of the mafia sat out or voted for someone you are now claiming is in the mafia as well. Why wouldn't they throw a vote somewhere?
However, given that DM cast a vote long after it was explained a tie would lead to no lynch, I'm inclined to agree that they are likely in the mafia. Dya's vote was strictly to tie the voting and prevent a death, while DM voted in a way that would have caused Ovi's death. Vote DM.

Well no, because you've always voted against people who voted to kill you, in self preservation 3. Maybe Ovi is the 3rd mafia 4. They could be busy, idk. I had planned to change my vote so someone would die, but didn't get a chance to log in in time.

Though the last time that I recall him being Mafia, he had me pretty convinced that he was innocent, so who knows with that sneaky bastard?

So then why would you even include that if it would be entirely out of character for me? 3. Wait, the newest theory is that /Ovi/ was the third member? That would imply that mafia members voted for each other unnecessarily twice and didn't team up to throw votes at a civilian. 4. Well I'm glad to know that you will publicly admit to wanting arbitrary deaths.

You're all insane. What kind of sadist designs a space ship without escape pods? I'm afraid any escape pods wouldn't have enough Delta-V to do much maneuvering. Since your entire ship is headed into aerocapture with Jupiter, that would put you on a one-way trip to Jupiter as well. So, I mean, you could, but there wouldn't be much point since you'd die anyway. Even if it had enough fuel to avoid crashing into Jupiter, there's no way it would have enough for landing on any of the moons, so you'd be stuck in orbit for the rest of your life.

I'm really not sure what's going on. It doesn't matter because my vote won't, at this point, change anything. If DM turns out to be guilty, all well and good. If she's innocent, the lynch mob will look quite suspicious. We'll see.

It's probably not going to make a difference, but I still feel like this is a setup. As the person who began this whole mess, I feel like that makes Dyakovo suspicious. Vote Dyakovo.

We've got 3 votes DM, two votes Dya.
Specifically: Darkness, Berry, and Dya vote DM.
DM and Jello vote Dya.
You have half an hour to make any changes needed.
EDIT: I'm an idiot, didn't see third page. Berry changed vote to DM, so it's now two votes DM, three votes Dya. As it stands, Dya will be lynched in half an hour.
EDIT2: It's midnight. Flavor text, ho!
As the crew argued over who had sabotaged the EVA suit, fingers were immediately pointed at Desperatemarla. However, at the last minute, some surprise votes changed the target. The crew converged on Dyakova and forced him into the airlock. They activated the depressurization switch, and watched his slow and painful death in the resulting vacuum. When he was dead, they repressurized the airlock to check his body for evidence.
On him was a copy of the DSM-10. He was the psychologist all along.
Knowing that they had killed an innocent man, the crew retreated to the shielded center of their ship for another night of restless sleep in micro-gravity.

What does the psychologist do? The psychologist is the detective in this version. Each night they get to check if someone's mafia. Well, not anymore, obviously, but for the first night they could anyway.
