The current players are: Three mafia members, one doctor, one detective. Flavor text begins below, irrelevant as it is.
Everyone is on an interplanetary spaceship. It's a trip from Earth to the Jovian Moons, in an attempt to explore Europa and determine the nature of the life recently discovered under its surface. Your ship is currently just coasting and it is expected that it will be several months before you reach your destination. The crew consists of 10 people. Eight scientists, one medical doctor, and one psychologist.
One sleep cycle, the crew wakes up to find one of their own missing. After some searching, they find video logs showing three masked crewmen throwing the missing scientist out of the airlock. There are traitors among them!
Right, you guys have fun. I'll be back in 48 hours to sort out the deaths and all that. Starting on the day cycle for this one.

Oooooo a spaceship. Though when you say "thrown out the airlock" all I think fo is Javik from Mass Effect, if anybody knows who that is. In any case, who to vote for is still up in the air. Heh. Heheh. Up in the "air". ...Okay, I'll be quiet now.

First day votes are always a dilemma. But not this time. I vote for panicberry because doing so will annoy him.

I don't know why there's this underlying sentiment of "Fuck Ed, he won't care if we kill him first /every fucking game/" going around, but it's petty and bullshit. If we're just going to be playing the "Vote Ed off first" game every goddamn time, then I'm done with mafia.
/vote TBD.

Great how you conveniently cleaved out the part of the quote showing I didn't fuck vote for you. Perhaps I should rectify that so you can feel better while judging me.

It's almost insulting that you think I'm that incompetent. Your actual post is there for all to see, how exactly would I go about pretending you said something you didn't? Also, I voted for you before you voted for anyone, so at that point all I had to go on was what you said the other day. I don't see how it's an unfair judgement to think someone will vote for you when they said they would in no uncertain terms.

And do you have any link to where I said this? Do you have even the slightest shred of proof that I intended on voting for you regardless of your actions? Because the current evidence suggests the opposite.

Because the current evidence suggests the opposite. I'm not trying to prove it to anyone. I'm not on trial here. You know that you said it, and it's not my problem if you're going to lie about it or if steam chat logs apparently disappear after 24 hours.

I suppose I'll vote for Ovi just to spice things up a bit. And voting for Ed is a bit old now, at least for me.

After some consideration, I am withdrawing my vote to see what happens. I don't honestly think Ed is Mafia, and I've no idea about anyone else, so the smart move is not to vote.

What happens in the event of a tie vote in this game? I've seen no lynches, which is what usually happens, but I've also seen double lynches.

Well, we can hardly kill off three players in the first round, so I think if it's tied we should just not lynch anyone.
Sorry, I mean "Not throw anyone out the airlock." Right. These sci-fi spaceships seriously need to rethink their airlock security if anyone can get tossed out of it willy-nilly.

I've seen nothing that leads me to believe that any specific person is Mafia, so I'm going to vote to maintain the tie. This leads me to the choice of voting for either TBD or Ed...

Well this is certainly awkward. So in the case of a tie, no one dies? Then I have no incentive to switch, as currently it's no death versus a potential death of Ovi. I guess I'll keep my vote where it is.

I mean, I guess we could just pick a random one out of the tied. I'm sure the next rounds won't have that issue, though.
Also:
Berry: TBD, Дьяково (2) TBD: Berry (1) Ovi: Blassy, Desperatemarlas (2)
I'm not gonna be able to do the cycle at exactly the cycle time, so does anyone mind if we add a few hours to the first day? If you don't want to, feel free to just go to the night cycle automatically and I'll add the flavor text later.

If anything I'd add a few hours to the night cycle. Sometimes a late vote can change everything, for better or worse.

How about I set the new rollover time to midnight, PST instead of midnight, GMT? (For reference, that's about an hour and a half from present time). That way I'll be able to actually make the updates on time.
By the way, the night cycle starts tonight, so you have that much time to put in any last-minute votes. As it stands now, nobody'll be lynched.

Making this a new post so it sets off the alert thing. Excuse the double-post, but it's night-time!
The crew argued and argued all day. There were some early votes to kill Elderberry, but after some discussion the crew decided that there wasn't enough information for a vote. The lights automatically dimmed as the crew transferred to the nonrotating portion of the ship (microgravity may be annoying for moving around, working, growing bones, and such, but it's great for sleeping) for another restless night of sleep. There was some external maintenance planned for the next day, and they had to be rested up to prepare for the EVA.
Mafia members, doctor, sheriff. You know the drill. It'll be daytime in 48 hours.

Morning came, and the crew was surprised to find that all members were accounted for. They proceeded into the morning EVA, as planned. Just routine external maintenance.
However, halfway through the maintenance, Blassy started to have issues breathing. Although his oxygen dial still showed that there was plenty of oxygen left in the suit, he found that he was quickly running out of air. Although the crew hurried to get him through the airlock as quickly as possible, it was too late. By the time he reached the pressurized interior of the ship, he was dead.
Upon investigation, the crew noticed that, although his oxygen tank was, indeed, empty, the meter was still holding at a solid 75%. The meter had been sabotaged!
With no room to store a spare corpse, the crew jettisoned Blassy's body out of the airlock. He had been a good doctor, but they'd just have to avoid injuries from then on.

Hunh... Losing the Doc on the first night is not good.
Also, spare corpse? What kind of expedition is this that we brought corpses along?

I wonder why blassy didn't protect herself. Maybe she thought someone else would've been more likely to be killed?
