Called it! I had a sneaking suspicion that Dya was a mafia member. Who do we target next?

I have to admit it doesn't look very good for Serrland, but I'll hold off for now.

Will bandwagon on Serrland. But does anyone else feel weird about all the lynching we do? We lynch a lot of folks. It's kind of messed up. *readies pitchfork and rudimentary torch*

For some strange reason pacifism never works in situations like these.

Oh come now... What are the chances that I'd be mafia in two consecutive games, and in four out of five mafia games I've played? BTW, the correct answer to this question was: 100%.

I'm a little bit nervous about the fact that Serrland is online but hasn't posted anything in the thread.

It's probably too late to matter anyway, but I'm going to vote Not Very Observant. It may be a coincidence, but she's been a little bit too close to the deaths of several innocents for my liking. Even if it is a coincidence, it's worth pointing out.

With very little dissent, you agree to lynch Serrland. After despatching him with your pitchforks, you quickly confirm your suspicions that Serrland was a member of the mafia. Indeed, Serrland was the Big Bad Wolf, leader of the mafia!
Congratulating yourselves, you turn in for the night to prepare for the morrow...
It is now night.

Woo! The boss is down! Now the question I have is, since Jello was wondering why Serrland wasn't posting... Is the silencing thing that's going on a townie power or a mafia power? I thought it was mafia from when whatever-their-name-is-now was? Is it a townie role or independently aligned role instead? Or was Serrland pretending to be silenced- perhaps with Jello spreading the idea as an accomplice? I don't have the answers. Hopefully whatever happens overnight will provide more info.

*deep, belated breath* I *knew* Dyakovo was guilty again! Also, I was being silenced for the last 48hrs - and thanks to Edlichbury's martyrdom I refrained from finding a way around it (which is probably totally what I would have done, btw, not in a cheating/malice kind of way, just because it seemed like a challenge to overcome in some playful way). Anyway - this is a very good question: Woo! The boss is down! Now the question I have is, since Jello was wondering why Serrland wasn't posting... Or was Serrland pretending to be silenced- perhaps with Jello spreading the idea as an accomplice? - I don't have the answers. Hopefully whatever happens overnight will provide more info. - If he really was silenced, then either one player can silence more than two people per night, or there is more than one player who has a silencing power. - I kinda lean towards independently aligned, but that's based on nothing, really. I could see it being mafia, because I had just been loudly proclaiming how convinced I was of Dya being mafia and how I had one other person on my "suspicious" list, when I got silenced. (The other person was actually gamerdog, but hey ). Also, Edlichbury was silenced after Nap turned out to be innocent, and Dya was all "if he's innocent why isn't he here proclaiming his innocence?!" So yeah, it might very well be the mafia doing the silencing. - Based on that, Serrland's silence might well have been an act (accidentally or intentionally helped by jello). - However, is it really likely that 2 people can be silenced every night? If not, the mafia would be stupid to actually silence someone (me) while pretending that Serrland had been silenced, too, because that wasn't gonna stay a secret.

Yeah, but there's quiet and then there's being the mafia boss and leading in lynch votes but not even trying to sway the vote despite being online lots during the voting.

Yeah, but there's quiet and then there's being the mafia boss and leading in lynch votes but not even trying to sway the vote despite being online lots during the voting. True. Maybe he figured there was nothing he could do to improve things. Or maybe some elaborate Mafia plot is going on behind the scenes. I dunno.

Yeah, I thought it could have just been like work or vacation related circumstances or something but it would be weird if you weren't silenced but were the mafia boss and about to be lynched to not try to do something about it. But it would also seem really weird to have 2 silencing roles. Though I've never seen silence as a thing before so I guess I don't know how it would actually work. Since this is fairy tales and such, what kind of characters would be able to make someone silent, and are there more than one? I don't know.

Going by votes alone (because I've overwiped my notes on vague speculations that no longer count), you have a 2:1 ratio of votes for proven good-guys vs proven bad-guys. Which is not quite the worst, but far from the most accurate (of an admittedly poor sample, with questions about its correlation with anything important anyway)...
Or, rather...
*woOAAaoh*
*slimes you*
*exeunt, through wall... thus also "ex-haunting", like someone else perhaps should do*
