Man I still can't believe that we swung the town around and got DM lynched yesterday. GGWP all.
Although I do find it kinda humorous that if WYTYG had been lynched the wolves would have lost, but because he wasn't we were almost assured a victory.
And GG for DM dying three times.

I also think that the fact that us wolves were basically holding up Serrland and Breadknife the entire game, trying to prevent them from getting killed, made things really interesting. In fact, we actually might have lost if Breadknife was in our scope, because we might not have hit Blassy in time to see the whole thing collapse.
Overall, very good game, both on the players and on dya for setting it up. 10/10 would wolf again

I can't believe it already ended! And we won!  Reading Dya's summary, my GOD am I glad we killed blassy last night, I could NOT have dealt with desperatemarlas coming back to life a third time. That it ended the game is a happy bonus. And how lucky that we killed TBD so early on, otherwise there would have been Vampires in the mix, too. Also, I'm not sure if I should strangle Serrland or thank him. Cupiding me up TWICE, wtf?! My god did that ever make things complicated. At the same time, it did certainly raise the level of intrigue and tension, which was kind of cool. But still. *strangles Serrland, but only a tiny little bit* We didn't even dare kill him again for fear he'd be able to shoot off even more arrows and cupid me thrice just for shits and giggles - did he have that power, Dya, or were the death arrows a one-time thing? Also, apologies for all the straight-out lying. <.< This was the first time in aaaaages that I've been mafia. Was unfamiliar but kinda cool. Nice game, Dya! |

I don't think I guessed anything. What I said in the thread about the resurrected having been turned not even having occurred to me was totally true. In fact, I actually thought Yalta was just throwing out a completey random, made-up theory to distract people and keep them from voting for me. I thought it was genius! It took like another day for me to go "oh, wait, this Vampire thing actually fits the facts -- wait, you mean he actually posted this as a valid theory?! Ohhhhhh..." |

Yeah, same here. I wasn't really taking the "vampire" thing seriously until...well...ever, really. I also didn't really buy the "DM is a vampire!" story, which made it even more surprising when it turned out to be true.

Yeah, the whole "if any of us die we just lose flat out" thing really made things tense. The fact that we had basically NO wiggle room to lose wolves, I think, really pushed us to end the game in the way that we did (votestorming DM to keep wytyg alive). Well, actually... One possible result of wytyg being lynched in that vote would have been for BK to kill Blassy (thus also taking out Serrland)... Which then would have opened up the possibility of his dying shot of love working again and targeting the two remaining survivors - Chandy and Yalta. In Which case, Townies lose, wolves lose, vampires lose, zombies lose, but the lovers win.  |

It took like another day for me to go "oh, wait, this Vampire thing actually fits the facts -- wait, you mean he actually posted this as a valid theory?! Ohhhhhh..." It was Dya's observation that one death (TBD) wasn't innocent that made me look for a pattern. At first my motivation was to smoke-screen for wytyg, but I needed my argument to make some kind of sense, it couldn't be complete nonsense or that'd make me look either suspicious or just plain daft (or both). Vampires reviving the already-dead felt like a stretch, but the rest of it fit - and as the day went on I slowly convinced myself there was another faction after all. By the end my vote was actually sincere, I really did want to know if I was onto something. |
