So, how do I make the timer skip to the next turn? Well we are still waiting on jello to place his armies but once he has placed them it should happen automatically. So on your turn what you need to do is place your reinforcements, then move your armies and attack as you will, and then fortify (move your guys around). Once your turn is done it will give you a card and move the timer to the next person. You can trade in three cards for five extra armies at the beginning of your turn, and you get two extra armies if you have a card with a territory (country) that you control. So say I have troops in Alaska. One of my cards is Alaska and is a circle. I have two other circles, but neither are on territories I control. At the beginning of my turn I can trade them in for five extra reinforcements. In addition, since I control Alaska, two extra armies will be placed there. If you have one circle one triangle and one square you get eight armies. If you have a three wildcard cards you get ten. You can check the rules for your specific game at any time by clicking game rules on the map.

Well, I only asked because I placed my armies, and then the turn timer was still going, at like, 19hrs and some change.

In fairness it kinda fucked me over for both games, but ah well.
And Dakini, I'm truly sorry about last round.
Anyway, I'm currently trying to figure out a way to link the games so that someone in one game can view the progress of the other, should they be interested. It's proving surprisingly difficult.

If doing terribly on her first turn is any consolation for Marla, her Peruvian troops fought valiantly.

Excuse me: TSM has Africa. And as to the former, I couldn't possibly comment. I am a mere peacekeeper, ensuring that the region does not fall into disarray. It'd be terrible if that were to happen. There are no ambitions otherwise, we have also been at war with Eastasia, and no that dress doesn't make you look fat.

Indeed. Africa is a continent with six different states with a lengthy and proud history. To assume that they are all under my control merely because of the sudden popularity of pink decoration and the brutal suppression of all other colours is colonialist, and that sort of naked imperialism that we reject utterly.
Now, if you'll excuse me, I have to attend to the newest round of forced conscriptions.

Exactly, I'm simply holding Ukraine to bulwark against Russian aggression. You don't want Putin to win, do you?

It's a particularly large bulwark against Russian aggression. But hey, I guess you like Putin and want the communists to win!

I believe my complete lack of presence in Europe and minimal presence in Asia should serve as an adequate response to that last frivolous assumption.

Well, there was the frivolous assumption that just because Ukraine happens to contain the largest population centres of Russia it can't be a bulwark against Russian aggression, but you godless liberals won't understand! Yes, I fully intend to go off the rails with arguements and you can't stop me.
